Our Production
From seed to bottle and from pasture to table, every step passes through our hands.
Our production runs on two lines: fruit and livestock. Each feeds the other — manure from our animals goes to the orchard, and the pomace left after pressing goes into the feed. That is why we buy no synthetic fertiliser.
Two lines, one soil
From Orchard to Bottle covers the five steps a pomegranate goes through, from planting to bottling: irrigation, harvest, cold pressing, filling and quality control.
From Pasture to Table covers the livestock side: pasture management, feeding, veterinary care and delivery.
Our Farm introduces the land both lines stand on.
What we do not do
We do not buy pomegranates from other orchards and sell them under our name. We do not make juice from concentrate. We do not buy animals from feedlots and present them as our own herd.
There is a price for this: our volume is limited. In a bad harvest year we sell less, and when stock runs out the product page says so. We would rather do that than buy in goods from another producer and put our label on them.
Traceability
Every bottle is recorded against a batch, and every batch against a harvest. If you find a problem with a product, write to us with the batch number and we can tell you which day it was picked and which analyses it passed.
